Please ensure your hair is dry and clean. 

Stay awake for 24 hours prior to test – do not take stimulants such as coffee or No Doz. If you have had a couple of hours sleep, please still attend the appointment. 

Please do not drive yourself to and from appointment due to increase seizure risk.

Please ensure your limbs are clean and free of creams and lotions. We suggest you wear loose clothing to allow easy access to the limb to be studied.

YOU MUST ENSURE YOUR EARS ARE COMPLETLEY FREE OF ALL WAX FOR THIS TEST TO BE PERFORMED. CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR 1-2 DAYS PRIOR TO THE TEST AND ENSURE THEY REMOVE ALL THE WAX IN THE EAR CANAL.

Fast for 3 hours prior to test. 

No cigarettes, alcohol, sleeping tablets or tablets for dizziness should be taken for 24 hours prior to the test. 

NO EAR-RINGS OR MAKE-UP ESPECIALLY EYE LINER OR EYE MASCARA. 

Please do not drive yourself from the appointment due to increased risk of dizziness.
